Nestled in the picturesque town of Northampton, MA, Intensive Therapy Retreats offers a sanctuary for individuals working through PTSD, trauma, and the aftermath of childhood and sexual abuse. Our approach is rooted in the belief that profound healing is achievable through a personalized, intensive therapy model set against the serene backdrop of New England, where the town's peaceful environment and natural beauty become a meaningful part of the recovery journey.
Unlike traditional therapy that stretches over months or years, our retreats deliver a concentrated course of treatment across three to five days, making space for a significant breakthrough in a condensed timeframe. We draw on evidence-based methods including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), tailoring each plan to the individual so the work is both deeply personal and highly effective.
You will work one-on-one with a highly skilled psychologist or psychotherapist who specializes in trauma and PTSD, in a setting designed for complete privacy and undivided attention. Our team builds a therapeutic alliance where you feel seen, heard, and valued, creating a safe space to explore difficult experiences and process them at a pace that feels right for you.
Our office is located within the historic Quaker building in the heart of downtown Northampton at 43 Center St, Suite 304, offering complete privacy and security throughout your retreat. The walkable downtown puts comfortable accommodations, restaurants, and quiet spaces for reflection within easy reach, so you can focus fully on your healing.
